Changing Ski Boot Alignment

Shims are placed under ski boots

As I flexed my knees individually, Ray put shims under my boots until, in a neutral stance, my alignment was perpendicular from the center of my boot through the center mark on my knee. This developed the degree of cant I would need to have my skis flat on the snow. I needed two degrees of inward canting on both boots to compensate for being bow-legged.
